The Great Pyramid of Giza, the center of so many unexplained questions and mysteries, is on the hot seat once again after a group of scientists recently discovers a massive “void” in the middle of the said structure.
As part of the ScanPyramids project which aims to use non-invasive technology to further study the structure, Scientists found strange warm stones and other secret chambers inside the monument.
But what makes scientists baffle is the discovery of a “big void” located in the heart of the pyramid. The hole remains untouched for 4,500 years. This massive void is just above “Grand Gallery”.
According to the reports, the “void” is about the size of a plane. What’s inside of it remains a mystery. Scientists believe that discovery of the “big void” can shed light on how the ancient mega structure was built.
The Great Pyramid was constructed under the reign of Pharaoh Khufu dated between 2509 and 2483 BC.
