One of the most popular social media sites in the world, Facebook rolls out another development in its chat app service.
Facebook announced that Messenger can now supports 4K photo sharing. Users can now send photos up to 4,096 x 4,096 pixels per image.
According to the social media giant, Users send 17 billion photos monthly via Messenger. Before, photos with high-resolution automatically downgraded to lower-resolution photos.
However, this update is only available for iOS and Android users in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, France, and some parts of Asia like Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan.
Facebook plans to roll out the update to other countries in the coming days.
