Miss Ilocos Norte Urges Youth To Volunteer For Typhoon Victims

While promoting Ilocos Norte’s culture and nature, Miss Ilocos Norte Trisha Carbonel Aceret is also urging her fellow youth to volunteer in the on-going disaster relief operations here.

The Ilocana beauty, who represents the province in the search for Miss Millennial Philippines 2018 of the famous television show Eat Bulaga of GMA 7 Network, paid a courtesy visit at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on Wednesday, where she enjoined the Ilocano youth to extend a helping hand to typhoon victims in the province.

“As part of the volunteer group, I can sing and help pack relief goods to those affected by typhoon,” said Aceret as she also looks forward to defend the crown for Miss Bayanihan Queen, a special award given to Miss Dianne Irish Joy Lacayanga who represented Ilocos Norte in the same pageant last year.

“If you want to volunteer and join us in helping our kailians (province mates), please visit our Ilocos Norte Youth Office and Sangguniang Kabataan Offices to find out how,” she added.

Since Monday, Aceret has been accompanying the team of Governor Ma. Imelda Josefa “Imee” Marcos in the distribution of relief goods to the hard-hit villages of Ilocos Norte.

This year’s grand prize winner will be determined by text and online votes with a take home house & lot and a brand new car.

Miss Millennial Philippines is aired at noontime from Mondays to Saturdays in “Eat Bulaga.” The coronation is set this October. (PNA)
