After over two years of exclusive online learning, the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) welcomed back its students as it opened its several campuses for limited face-to-face (LF2F) classes.

The gradual reopening of its facilities is in compliance with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Department of Health (DOH) Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 2021-004, which allows LF2F classes for higher education in areas under Alert Level Systems 1, 2, and 3.

To ensure the smooth and safe adjustment, the LF2F only applies to the undergraduate programs and to a few select subjects. These include laboratory courses under Culinary Arts, International Hospitality Management, Hospitality Management and Travel and Tourism Management Programs held at the college’s Angelo King International Center.

The Design and Arts Campus likewise opened its facilities, laboratories and workshops to young student-artists pursuing the Animation, Multimedia Arts, Digital Filmmaking, Photography, Arts Management, Dance, Theater Arts, Production Design and Music Production Programs.

The college has stated that participation in physical classes is not compulsory. Students who wish to attend are required to present either a scanned copy or a digital certificate issued by VaxCertPH as proof of full vaccination or booster status and other pertinent documents to be collected by the Office of the Registrar.

Students who are immunocompromised, with comorbidities, or part of the Most-at-Risk Population (MARP) were encouraged to coordinate with the Benilde Center for Health and Medical Services.

The college continues to implement the standard health and safety guidelines such as the social distancing protocols as well as the usage of face masks.
