STI College continues to exemplify its unwavering commitment to foster well-rounded students and future professionals through its signature brand of holistic education. As testament to this, the leading educational institution received multiple recognitions at the recently concluded Philippine Quill Awards and Anvil Awards for its programs that help students better navigate their campus life and guide them in making important choices for their careers.

STI garnered an Excellence Award for the STI Student’s Career Opportunity & Personality Evaluator (SCOPE), and a Merit Award for the STI’s Facebook Page during the 20th Philippine Quill Awards held last January 25.

A free online assessment tool, STI SCOPE is developed to help students choose the ideal track or course for them based on their strengths, weaknesses, and personalities and make informed decisions regarding their educational and professional paths even at an early stage, which can be valuable to their future success. On the other hand, the STI Official Facebook page was elevated to become more than just a platform to disseminate school announcements but an enriching and cultivating online community for students where they can consume insightful, informative, and inspirational content that also resonates to the current trends of today’s generation.

The Philippine Quill is an annual event that honors the best communication programs, tools, and research projects across various industries. It is presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

During the 59th Anvil Awards held on January 31, STI College also received a Silver Anvil Award under the PR Tools Publication category for its carer guide magazine exclusively published for incoming senior high school and college students, Destination. With the goal of helping students learn more about themselves and their strengths so they can make the right choices regarding their education and career paths, Destination makes use of activity-type content about different learning styles and multiple intelligence as well as personality quizzes and informative articles about relevant topics to schooling and career planning.

Presented annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Awards recognizes outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners in the country.

“We are grateful to the IABC and PRSP for recognizing our programs geared towards guiding the youth towards the path of success in their education and future careers. This honor also coincides with the celebration of STI College’s 40th anniversary, further motivating us to develop more tools and initiatives that will help, and nurture students become future-ready graduates who will go on to become competent and productive members of society,” said Ferdie T. Dantes, STI AVP for Academics.
